Natrium?

It may seem like a really random interest, but I absolutely love Chemistry. I find it really intriguing and interesting, and not only that but I love the big booming noise when things explode.

Anyhow, today I discovered a Swedish periodic table, mostly because I was getting concerned by the fact that my mouthwash contains ‘natrium’ which sounded familiar ( I’ve now realised why – it’s the latin word for Sodium – duh!)

and so, for your viewing pleasure: the Swedish Periodic Table!

(Edit: just noticed that half the periodic table was missing when i looked at it on here. Have now linked the image back to it’s source on t’internet firstly because it’s good practice to do so, and secondly because then you can see the whole thing if it screws up again :))

  1. Nice! Something I probably never would have searched for on my own, but really cool to look at 🙂
